New Delhi, Jun 24 (IANS): It will be a partly cloudy Wednesday here and the Met Office has forecast light rain and thundershowers in some areas.
The morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
"The day's maximum temperature would be around 38 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 39.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
