Shoot out outside Ghaziabad college, girl student injured


Ghaziabad, June 24 (IANS): A girl student of IMS College in Ghaziabad was accidentally injured when a student shot at another student outside the college gate on Wednesday morning over an old enmity, police said.

The incident occurred when the IMS students were going to appear in the examination in another institute, INMANTIC, across the road.

Abhishekh Siddhu, a second-year student of BBA at IMS had come to take to appear in the examination when another student, identified as Navtej Singh from another college, fired at him, police said.

But the bullet instead hit a girl student in her back. She has been identified as Shivangi, a resident of Meerut. She was rushed to a hospital where her condition is stable, police said.
