New Delhi, June 24 (IANS): Partly cloudy with light rainfall on Wednesday brought relief to Delhi as maximum temperature settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. Similar weather is likely Thursday, the met office said..
"The skies will remain partly cloudy on Thursday. Light rainfall and thundershowers can occur in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 and 23 degree Celsius respectively.
Wednesday's minimum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 25.8 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 39.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
