Armed men attack hotel in Tunisia, several hurt


Tunis, June 26 (IANS): A group of armed men attacked the Marhaba Palace hotel in the coastal city of Sousse on Friday, injuring several hotel residents, the interior ministry spokesperson said.

A security operation is going on inside the hotel, according to ministry spokesperson Mohamed Ali Aroui. However, the ministry has not confirmed any deaths so far, Xinhua said citing TAP news agency.

The city of Sousse is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the country.
