Science quiz to ignite young minds for safer India


Bengaluru, June 26 (IANS): A national science quiz will be organised in August-October for high school students across India to create awareness about safety in daily life, it was announced on Friday.

The quiz titled 'Safety in Everyday Life' will be organised by the National Council of Science Museums in partnership with Underwriters Laboratories.

"The first round will be held at seven centres -- Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Mumbai on August 23 and further rounds at Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum in Bengaluru in October last week," the organisers said in a statement here.
