Cloudy Saturday in Delhi, similar Sunday likely


New Delhi, June 27 (IANS): The national capital experienced a partly cloudy Saturday with the maximum temperature settling a notch above the season's average at 38.1 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected on Sunday, the Met office said.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Sunday) and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 27 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Saturday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 71 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum was 24 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
