Man sets himself ablaze on Japan bullet train

Tokyo, Jun 30 (IANS): A man set himself on fire onboard a bullet train in Japan, media reports said on Tuesday.

The fire on the bullet train was caused by a passenger pouring oil over him on a train from Tokyo to Osaka, a spokesperson from Japan Rail told BBC.

According to the state-run NHK news agency, the train came to an emergency halt between Shin-Yokohama and Odawara stations in Kanagawa prefecture around 11.30 a.m.
