Coal case: Pushp Steels chargesheet to be considered on July 6


New Delhi, July 1 (IANS): A special court on Wednesday fixed July 6 for considering a chargesheet filed in a coal block allocation case involving Chhattisgarh-based company Pushp Steels and Mining Pvt. Ltd.

After seeking certain clarification from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Special Judge Bharat Parashar posted the matter for July 6.

A case was registered against the company and its officials in April 2013 under various section dealing with criminal conspiracy and cheating.

The CBI filed a fresh chargesheet in the case on May 20.

The probe agency said the company allegedly misrepresented facts while applying for coal blocks.
