New Delhi, July 1 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sunny Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling two notches above the season's average at 37.8 degrees Celsius. The Met office forecast light rain on Thursday.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy through the day tomorrow (Thursday) and some parts of the city might get light rain," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 83 percent.
