    Dear All,

    Condolence and sympathies we always
show and help our neighbors. To avoid such incidents in future and a alert to such reckless riders, all neighbors and respective citizens jointly lodge a complaint and urge govt and police dept to send both reckless riders behind bar at least for one year and there after court case. Catch him and break both of them's one leg permanently. Else it is difficult to move walk ride.

It is sad that more and more people are dying on the roads, most of them young. Though our roads are the main cause for these fatalities, the blame is equally shared by our vehicle users for their blatant disregard for traffic rules and civic sense. While I condole the death of Leena, I also have a suspicion that she was not wearing helmet or had not strapped it on.

IF YOU PASS THE BIKE TEST, IN RIDING " S " , YOU ARE PASSED. THE POLICE PEOPLE DO NOT TRAIN OR TEST OTHER THINGS LIKE HOW TO BEHAVE IN CIRCLES, HOW TO RIDE IN ROUND ABOUTS, HOW TO DRIVE? THE SHARP CUT IS VERY very DANGEROUS NOT ONLY TO THE BIKE RIDERS, BUT ALSO TO OTHER MOTORIST.... SO TOTALLY, THIS TRAFFIC POLICE IS TO BE BLAMED FOR ISSUING THE LICENSES. RESULT IS THIS...

"Youngsters" 18plus or not? Under age riding then their parents should be brought up on fault.
If 18plus they should be charged with culpable homicide and prosecuted asap. Every lesson go a long way, such lessons can echo on other stupid morons who lurk the streets.

we will blame the Politicians ..city..municipality..police.
We boast of developing India.. where are we?
Politicians want to pile up money in swiss banks..all in nexus ..all builders/contractors along with Municipal engineers/politicians will award govt contractors .. where by 25% will go straight into the pockets of the politicians..nethas...
where are the roads.. where are the city plans...municipal/city plans..master plans .. where is the .
what is the definition of a city..is it only by the MASS of people it occupies? or the extent of land or what?
Is there anything called Road specifications?
Highways: byways By-lanes.. : lanes .. what ever?
    This is joke...
Who cares if some innocent citizen has lost their lives?.
We get traffic on all directions 360 degrees.
    one drives by instinct...
    There is no planning..
so, this is the pathetic and chaotic condition we are in..

Very untimely death. So sad. RIP Please remember, never ever ride 2-wheelers without standard hamlet that too rightly worn. A small fall from the 2-wheelers without a hamlet may prove fetal because the head hits the floor first and the impact is enough for internal bleeding. SPEED THRILLS BUT KILLS

Narrow roads are not always the cause for accidents. Mangalore roads are now much better and broader than what they were before few years back. Indiscipline, lack of road sense, disrespect for other roads users, negligence, irresponsible rush without reason, speeding, driving on the wrong side, entering the no entry roads, parking in wrong places, but most of all our laws our Motor Vehicles Act if I am not mistaken 1988 which is ancient and hopeless for the victims, hence drivers could not care less even if someone dies because they get bail the same day and out on the road driving again. Punishment
should be severe like in other countries and Gulf for offenders, this is the only way things could change in our city and all over India. Our society needs to change.
There was a talk recently but the present government it seems has brushed the new Motor Vehicle Amendment act, under the carpet. RIP Leena Binoy.

While i was driving in Mangalore I saw many motor bike drivers drive helter skelter and a few of them are in one way on the opposite side. They take advantage due to to lack of police personnel. Police personnel are also drinkers and corrupt.

Absolutely no law and order in Mangalore. Influx of foreigners from neighbouring states add to the worse prevailing situation in Mangalore. Mr. Murugan setting up hi-tech websites for the ease of citizens will be of no use, unless you get down to the ground reality that law and order has to be tightened in Mangalore. Many Goondas and irresponsible drivers are roaming in Mangalore which is safe haven for all the culprits. No policemen on rounds in the city. Probably policemen are busy giving security to Nalinkumar, Poojary and other MP's and MLA's.

RIP Leena. Our condolences to your family.

What a sad destiny of a young lady who has been returning home to be with her family after a day's hard work at Roshni Nilaya.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the bereaved family of Leena Binoy whom we do not think had a chance to meet.

Our heartfelt condoleces also go out to Sr. Jacinta and Sr. Sophie of Roshni Nilaya who with their students will also feel the loss of a young lady who had so many aspirations towards the students dedicated for the Social work.

With the ever increasing traffic in all corners of Indian roads are becoming totally narrow wherever you go and whatever you do. God is the mercy for us all.
