Mangaluru: 55-year-old man found dead in well at Katipalla, suicide suspected

Mangaluru, Jul 3: A 55-year-old man was found dead in a well near his house at Katipalla, Suratkal near here on the morning of Friday July 3. It is suspected that he committed suicide. 






The deceased, Madhusudhan Rao (55), a painting contractor had been missing from two days and a police complaint was lodged at Suratkal police station by his wife and son on Thursday July 2.

Rao was also a Congress party member and he is survived by wife, a son and two daughters.

Local MLA Mohiuddin Bava visited the house of the deceased.

Reason for taking the extreme step is not yet known.

Suratkal police are investigating.

    very suspect.Nowadays when one says suicide,next day it turns out just a mord.He is a member of political Party?lets wait and hear further.but sad whatever the circumstances were may his Soul rest in peace.and heartfelt sympathy to the Family.How could they didnt notice his Body since three days?that too in front of house were searching?were not using the water from the well?strange.or Body was thrown in days later?

    The well is located right in front of the house (as seen in the above pictures). How come someone did not notice it from three days?
