Kundapur: Woman jumps into well out of depression

Kundapur, Jul 4: Savitha Kamath (48) from Bankeshwar within the limits of Yadthare gram panchayat near Byndoor in the taluk committed suicide on the night of Thursday July 2.
 
Savitha's husband, Shivanand Kamath, runs Sri Ganesh Studio at Byndoor. On Thursday night, family members had gone to bed at around 10 pm after dinner as usual. Savitha's body was found floating in the well located opposite her home on Friday morning.
 
In his complaint filed in Byndoor police station, Shivanand Kamath said that his wife had been going through a patch of psychological disorders, and that she had committed suicide out of depression.
 
Savitha has left behind two sons and a daughter, apart from her husband. A case relating to this incident was registered in Byndoor station.
