Mangaluru, Jul 4: With a vision to promote cleanliness and environmentally friendly practices among students and in order to install a sense of responsibility for their surroundings, team 'Kanasu Kannu Teredaga' is organizing an Inter School Clean City Contest called 'Nanna Kanasu Swaccha Mangaluru'.
As part of this contest, team KKT on Saturday July 4 conducted a poster art contest at Ramakrisna School, Bunts Hostel for school children on the theme 'Swaccha Mangaluru'.
Alongside the inter-school city competition, team KKT is also conducting an essay writing contest.
'Nanna Kanasu Swaccha Mangaluru' campaign is being held in association with Shield Trust and Ramakrishna Mission for all schools in Mangaluru.
Apart from Sri Ramakrisna School, St Aloysius high school, Canara School, Dongarkeri, Canara Composite High School, Urwa, St Agnes English Primary School, St Agnes Kannada Medium School, Chinmaya School, and many other schools have registered in this contest and appreciated team KKT for its efforts.
Kanasu Kannu Teredaga, a children's movie in Kannada, will be releasing on July 24. The movie is packed with messages for children and is sure to motivate kids to step up and bring a change in the society.
