Mangaluru, Jul 6: State health minister U T Khader is known to be people friendly. Under any situation he does not lose his common touch. In cases of accidents, he does his best in helping the victims, without showing that he is a minister.
On Sunday July 5 evening after Iftar, Khader was travelling to Konaje when he spotted a Maruti Ritz car involved in an accident. The car had hit the wall on the side of the road and the driver named Neelu from Kulshekar was seriously injured. Khader immediately took the injured in his government car and rushed him to K S Hegde hospital in Deralakatte .
Khader contacted the family of the injured with the help of documents found in the car. He did not leave the hospital till the family members of the injured reached the hospital.
Such instances of Khader showing his good Samaritan qualities happened many times in various places. One such incident had happened in Mangaluru in the recent past and one in Bengaluru during last Ramadhan.
