M'luru: Awareness programme on ill effects of tobacco held at two schools

Mangaluru, Jul 7: Department of Public Health Dentistry, A J Institute of Dental Sciences conducted an awareness programme on 'Ill effects of tobacco' for the high school students of Padua High School, Mangaluru on July 6.

A video titled 'Womb to tomb' depicting the adverse effect of tobacco was projected to the students. Health Talk on 'Ill effects of tobacco' was given to the students.




Dr Praneeth – lecturer, postgraduates and interns – department of public health dentistry, A J Institute of Dental Sciences were present.

Programme at Mount Carmel School, Maryhill
Department of Public Health Dentistry, A J Institute of Dental Sciences also conducted an awareness programme on 'Ill effects of tobacco' for the high school students of Mount Carmel School, Maryhill, Mangaluru on July 4.

The video titled 'Womb to tomb' was projected for the students. A role play on 'Ill effects of tobacco' was performed. The health talk on 'Ill effects of tobacco' was given by Dr Prerna – postgraduate student – department of public health dentistry.

Dr Karan Giriyan – lecturer, postgraduates and interns – department of public health dentistry, A J Institute of Dental Sciences were present.
