Compound wall collapses in Moodushedde, two injured

Mangaluru, Jul 9: In an incident of compound wall collapsing, two have been injured.








Lokayya Poojary (55) with serious head injuries and Arun (35) with minor injuries have been admitted to A J hospital.

Incident took place at Shiva Nagara in Moodushedde, Vamanjoor at 9 am on Thursday, July 9.

Lokayya had come to his son-in-law Shiva Reddi's house to meet his daughter Jayashree and while sitting outside and chatting, the wall collapsed upon Lokayya and Arun.

One bike has also been damaged.

Gram panchayath president Hariprasad and village accountant Prakash have visited the spot. The loss has been estimated at Rs 3 lacs.
