Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji to host private birthday bash for Katrina Kaif?

Jul 11, (Mid-day): Alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor, director Ayan Mukerji and a few other Bollywood celebs are said to be planning a intimate birthday party for the actress in Alibaug

Katrina Kaif will step into the 32nd spring of her life on July 15, and we hear a big surprise is awaiting the actress. Sources say the Kat’s industry friends led by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji have planned a birthday party for her in Alibaug.

Says an insider, “Last year on her birthday, Katrina had flown to Corsica to be with Ranbir Kapoor as he was shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha there. This time round, she has to shoot for some brand endorsements and wants to spend the day in the company of her friends. So, Ayan along with Ranbir and a few others, including Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar and choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar, have decided on hosting a surprise bash for her at a common friend’s farmhouse in Alibaug.”

Kat is currently shooting for a promotional song for Kabir Khan’s Phantom and has some brand commitments to honour thereafter. “She has not made plans this time, but since she and Ranbir are both in town, they will most likely celebrate the occasion here itself. Katrina is not a party person; she likes spending time with her friends and family over dinner and drinks. So this kind of an intimate get-together will be an ideal surprise for her,” says a source close to the actress. Ayan remained unavailable for comment.
