Udupi, Jul 13: In a road accident which occurred at Hiriyadka in the taluk, a motor bike rider lost his life on Sunday July 12. The accident occurred when the two-wheeler driven by Harish Shetty alias Appu (28), son of Kumar Shetty from Shivapura hit a bus at Hiriyadka.
Harish, a welder by profession, used to reside at Borgalgudde in Hiriyadka with wife, Shweta. On Sunday morning, he was moving in his motor bike when he suddenly lost control over the vehicle, which then hit a bus near Hiriyadka Kondady. Harish, who suffered grave head injuries, succumbed on the spot.
Hiriyadka police registered a case on the basis of a complaint lodged by Prabhachandra Jain from Pajire.
