Panasonic launches smartphones in regional languages


New Delhi, Jul 14 (IANS): Panasonic India on Monday launched its new four inch quad core smartphone, T33, priced at Rs.4,990 and supporting 21 Indian regional languages.

"The T33 Smartphone has been developed and designed to overcome the fundamental problem of language barriers faced across India by giving them an option to choose from various languages," said Panasonic India MD Manish Sharma.

"Language is one of biggest barriers that prevent people from using mobile phone functions exhaustively. This smartphone has specifically been launched to enableAvernacularisation by serving the unique needs of Indian consumers across multiple markets," said business head, mobility division, Pankaj Rana.

T33, powered by a 1.2 giga hertz quad core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system, will be available from the third week of July, said Panasonic.
