Mangaluru: Two victims of Farangipet landslip illegal Bangladeshi immigrants?

Mangaluru, Jul 16: A day after the tragic landslip which claimed three labourers life at Farangipet on Tuesday July 14, high placed sources informed daijiworld that the two of the victims in the incident were illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.

In the gruesome mishap, the labourers were trapped under a pile of mud following a landslip at a construction site.

It is learnt that the victims in the incident Maiminol (20) and Milon (23) were from Maheshpur of Jhenaidah district in south-western Bangladesh, while Thorikol (22) was from West Bengal.

Several illegal Bangladeshi immigrants are believed to be working at construction sites in and around the city as unorganized labourers. They are said to have infiltrated into the country through middleman and got employed here. Further, the contractors hire these workers without any basic information and allow them to work in the construction sites.

It is further learnt that there are many illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the city working along with migrants from north India without proper residential address or identity proof.

Speaking to daijiworld, Nagesh, assistant labour commissioner said, "There are 8,000 registered labourers here. One of the victims (of Farangipet tragedy) was from West Bengal. We don’t have clear information about the other two victims."

    No religion has recorded increase comparable to yours. Percentage wise the population of Hindus, Christians, Parsees has recorded a decline since 1947 thanks to your growth. After having witnessed what happened in Pak, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Syria, Egypt etc do you expect me to convert to your religion ?

    Bangladeshi Illegal Immigrants influx in India is more why because Gulf Countries Banned their Entry Visa's due to their Illegal Activities and Crimes.Once they are in they Gather in One Place and Make their Own Area and City where by No Local residents/Government Machinery citizens Dare to Enter their Zone.There are Many Examples in Gulf Countries.Local Agents Who are employing this illegals are to be punished and Some one must raise this issue in the Parliament.It will effect also for the VOTE Bank.They even work for cheap Labour effecting the own country men labour , and they will make their lives by doing illegal crimes and activities.

    Labor commissioner should implement some regulations with site contractors to ensure that they are provided identity proof of the laborers they employ. Illegal residents pose real threat by way of robberies, crimes and illegal activities in the society.
    I cannot imagine that Bangla laborers reached down south up to Mangalore!

    Bangladeshi's is Dense populated city, they produce as rabits and no education, poverty, and migrating everywhere, their main job robing , they work mostly meson,
    And we Indian calling them poor, They cannot stop producing like rabbits,

    Mangaloreans working everywhere and others learn from mangalorean origins discipline neatness. Mangaloreans not enter illegally to other countries. India is not Dharmashala for foreigners living illegally.

    Builders filling these outsiders here. Once they land here bring more and more of their relatives, neighbours here. Days are not far their populations will be more than locals. This is a big threat to locals. We are facing here at this time lot of water shortage, electricity, sanitation problems and theft cases, cheating and so on. Please do not allow our beautiful land to become slum.

    Rather than critisizing the contractor for negligence. ....u guys are blaming bangalies....They have not committed any crimes....

    The Burmese have some sense. If they had not driven out these illegal immigrants, the Burmese would have been driven out by them. Also how can you compare the highly educated and law abiding Mangloreans with them ? Mangloreans are not illegal immigrants anywhere and are hard working and dedicated.If we allow more of these Bangladeshis then we will ourselves be driven out by them.

    These Bangladeshi are banned in many countries. They pose a great risk to any country. Many of them are involved in immoral activities, armed buglery, murder to name few. These builders to earn huge profits hire them at cheap labor. I always a have question from where do these builders get money to invest in new buildings when the existing once are not sold. How do they manage it. Who funds them? How come they can easily convert agricultural land to non agricultural and construct building when I common citizen can't.

    What genocide in Gujarat? Has the Muslim population there declined? It has only increased. Regarding the riots in 2002 even Hindus were killed and made refugees. Not just one community suffered. In Pakistan, Afghanistan etc non-Muslims were wiped out. Their own census figures confirm it. Not everyone is as lucky as muslims in India to record the highest population growth rates since 1947 and even before that.

    With construction activities by many builders, there is a shortage of skilled laborers, which prompts them to hire them without the formalities of verifying their background or place of origin.
    This is only tip of iceberg & it takes a long time or incidents like this to bring them to light.

    Its very common to see bangla illegal immigrants at every construction site and they call themselves west bengalese. Isn't the duty of contractors / builders to complain about so called illegals to Police ? Most of them are criminal minded people who has no respect to our Motherland !
