Summer youth leadership program to begin from August 1

Qatar, Jul 16: Karnataka Sangha Qatar strongly believes that 'good leaders are made, not born'. In this process of making new leaders, we are conducting the '5th summer youth leadership program' from August 1 for all the children hailing from the state of Karnataka.

YLP is a proven 8 session program designed by Toastmasters International, USA that helps young people to improve their communication and leadership skills. The participants will be trained by senior Toastmasters on various topics.

The program is not in competition with school programs or courses or other established youth projects. Instead, it is a supplement to these programs, providing emphasis on specialized speaking and leadership skill and individual needs. By the end of this session kids will be able to strengthen their interpersonal skills / strong communication / critical thinking / leadership ability and self confidence.

Herewith all the parents are requested to encourage their kids to take part in this leadership program.

Basic criteria for participation

1. Age category : Between 11 to 18 years.

Maximum 24 students can take part in this program, registration is based on first come first serve.

Last date for registration is July 23.
