Shots fired at AAP legislator's office, none hurt

New Delhi, July 17 (IANS): Unidentified men opened fire at the office of AAP legislator Kailash Gehlot here early Friday but no one was hurt, police said.

"Some miscreants opened fire at the Najafgarh legislator's office around 1 a.m.," a police officer told IANS.

The Aam Aadmi Party legislator was then at his residence. There was no one at the office, the officer said.

Gehlot's personal secretary, who identified himself as Kapil, told IANS: "The MLA is safe. No one was injured in the incident."

An earlier report mistakenly said that AAP legislator Ved Prakash was shot at and that he escaped unhurt.
