20 people killed in Bangladesh accidents


Dhaka, July 19 (IANS): At least 20 people were killed and 30 injured in two separate accidents occurred over the weekend in Bangladesh, police said on Sunday.

Six people, including three of a family, were buried in a mudslide in Bangladesh's port city of Chittagong on Friday night due to heavy rains, Xinhua reported.

In another incident, at least 14 people were killed and 30 injured in a road accident in Sirajganj district when two passenger buses collided on the Bangabandhu bridge over the Jamuna river on Saturday.
