My role in 'Pugazh' a reflection of my real self: Surbhi

Chennai, Jul 21 (IANS): Surbhi's next release will be Tamil romantic-drama "Pugazh" and the actress says that the role she essays in the film is a reflection of her real self.

"I'm quite impressed about my role in this film. I play a character called Bhuvana, who is very honest and straightforward in conveying her thoughts. This role is a reflection of my real self in many ways," Surbhi said in a statement.

In "Pugazh", she's paired with actor Jai.

Talking about her experience of working with him, she said: "He's very determined and hardworking. Besides acting, he's also very passionate about car racing. I really wish he succeeds as a racer as well."

Directed by Manimaran, "Pugazh" has cinematography by Velraj and music by the duo Vivek-Mervin.

Surbhi said her role in the film also helped her in preparation for her character in Ram Gopal Varma-directed upcoming Telugu thriller "Attack".

She plays a bike mechanic in "Attack", which also features Manchu Manoj and Prakash Raj.
