Nitish opens Bihar's longest flyover


Patna, July 21 (IANS): Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inaugurated the longest four-lane flyover of Bihar here, saying it will provide people much needed relief from traffic congestion.

The 2.7-km road bridge between Sheikhpura near Patna airport and Rupaspur is expected to ease the traffic in the heart of congested Patna.

Bihar's Road Construction Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh lauded the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corp for building the flyover.

The project was built at an estimated cost of Rs.300 crore, an official said.
