Udupi: Dead body of Shivananda Kotian (26) found at Kaup seashore

Udupi, July 21: The dead body of Shivananda Kotian (26) who had drowned in the sea as his Kairampani country boat had toppled, was found at Uliyaragoli Kaipunjalu on Monday, July 20.

The boat had toppled when he had gone for fishing with Baputhota resident Ravi Kotian and Shantinagara resident Vijith. Vijith who was also drowning in the mishap was saved by locals.

However the search was on for Shivanand. The dead body was found floating near Kaipunjalu yard. Suri Shetty and others brought the body to the shore.

Kaup station police visited the place and the dead body has been handed over to his relatives after postmortem.
