New Delhi, Jul 22 (IT) : In what could again lead to a stormy start on Day 2 of Monsoon Session in the Parliament, Union External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday tweeted that she would reveal in Parliament the name of a senior Congress leader who pressurised her for a diplomatic passport for a coal scam accused leader Santosh Bagrodia.

Swaraj, who was in the eye of the storm in the Parliament on Tuesday, said that she will make the revelation in the House's floor on Wednesday.

Santosh Bagrodia, a former minister of state for coal, has been named as an accused in a coal scam case linked to the allocation of a coal block in Maharashtra to a private company. He was summoned by a special CBI court on Tuesday.

Swaraj, the primary target of a relentless opposition attack on the Lalit Modi controversy, on Tuesday said she is ready for a debate "today itself", an offer she said she has conveyed to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who has been fire-fighting on behalf of the government in Rajya Sabha.

"I am ready for a debate today itself. I asked Shri Arun Jaitley to convey this to Rajya Sabha," Sushma tweeted amid a series of disruptions and adjournments in Parliament over what has come to be known as Lalitgate. "The government is ready for a discussion in any format at any time," Jaitley said in the Upper House.

The government and the Congress have locked horns over the controversies surrounding Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje on Lalit Modi issue and Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Vyapam scam, setting the stage for confrontation in Parliament. While the Congress has made it clear that it will not allow Parliament to function unless the BJP leaders facing allegations quit, the government has asserted that there will be no resignations and that it will not give in to any ultimatum.
