Lt Governor Jung rejects Kejriwal elected DCW chief

July 22, Agencies : Delhi lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung on Wednesday rejected Swati Maliwal's appointment as the new chief of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).

Swati Maliwal was appointed as the new chief of DCW by the Delhi government headed by Arvind Kejriwal, according to media reports. As per reports, the Kejriwal government didn't seek Jung's approval at the time of appointing Swati Maliwal as the new DCW chief and hence, the lieutenant governor rejected the appointment.

Swati Maliwal, wife of AAP leader Navin Jaihind, is an advisor to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. She also handles Kejriwal's Janta Samwad.

    Hey shameless LG, we have not elected you. Please get away. We want our elected Govt. to Rule us. If you are ruling Delhi shamelessly, then why conducting elections in Delhi and wasting crores of tax payers money. You are killing the Democracy. You will pay for it, one day.     It is high time to dismantle Governor's of each state, as well as the President of India, who are draining tax payer's money without justification.

    Jung is a clear example of Chamchagiri of Central govt., which is bent upon ruling Delhi to spread corruption by sidelining AAP.

    Why the appointment should be politically motivated?
    It is mentioned she is wife of an AAP Leader. Hence, the decision of Kujliwal is biased.

    The same man who was preaching against political favourism is doing the same shamelessly. Kujliwaalaaaa... you have full majority... hence do all the things that you preached to the world earlier... instead eating sh*t

    faults lies with KUJLI..first he has to control his loose tongue..no need to compromise with his ideology, but he is CM he cant talk like illiterate street thug..look how he addressed LG,Police commissioner..i dont think central Govt controls LG..Its a personal ego war of LG & KUJLI..confrontation doesnt bring good to public..KUJLI wants to be in limelight, wants to control everything..Garbage issue was to control DCM, protest & foul words against police to take control of police dept..today one of the leader says police try to run BUS on him while addressing media!!..there must be some limit..He wants continue like this for whole tenure, fighting & blaming..

    let him resign and go and do agitation to get Delhi a statehood.. didnt he do it to get Lokpal and then thought coming to politics to solve all the issue.. he came into politics, got elected and now cribs, even being in power is useless... so he should look for avenues outside..! is it not?

    you people expect Modi to solve kashmir issue, border infiltration, cross border terrorism and ceasefire violations - as if those things are under hsi control and pak army reports him? .... going by kejri logic, pak government should be brought under Modi and then he can stop it? No, use the avilavble resources and methods to stop that.. and I am sure it would take some time, to stop that... think logcially!... !

    no need of all that! BASAVANNA was a prophet and a krantikari.. he did a revolution, without sword and uplifted the downtrodden by having castless Linagayt society.. (today it is a confused under various maths is a different matter), but for uniting, you dont have to go agiatation way.. but there should be dialgoues! various kingodms, did give them rajashray!... something new comes up, no one opposes , atleast in india.. I dont know the pagan, jewish, middleastern soceity!

    Lt Governor Jung & his God Fathers in Union Govt is jeopardizing the will of people who voted AAP to rule over them.
    Clear example of killing democracy.
    Union Govt who is hand and glove with Lt. Governor, not taking action on him for undue interference is making the recent election in Delhi a waste!
