Big B lauds Sujoy Ghosh's 'Ahalya'


Mumbai, July 23 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has lauded director Sujoy Ghosh's short film "Ahalya", starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Radhika Apte.

The 14-minute-ten-second thriller is set in Kolkata and is based on the story of a character in Hindu mythology of the same name.

The 72-year-old actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter to praise the film.

"The magic of short films... Sujoy Ghosh... Brilliant!!," posted Big B and shared the link of the film too.

The elated "Kahani" director Ghosh tweeted: "Yay! love you sir."

Ghosh has worked with Amitabh in the 2009 film "Aladin". They teamed up again for 2012 released film "Kahaani" but only for the song "Ekla Chalo Re".
