Armaan, Amaal remind me of Salim-Sulaiman: Salim Merchant


Mumbai, July 23 (IANS): Composer Salim Merchant says Armaan and Amaal Malik remind him of his Salim-Sulaiman team.

"Armaan and Amaal Malik remind me of Salim-Sulaiman," Salim said at the birthday bash of Amaan Malik.

"My association with Armaan is old, I sang for his first album 'Krazy Konnection'. He is very talented. Both are talented and bright and very deserving. I wish them all the luck," added Salim.

Armaan is the son of singer and music director Daboo Malik, brother of music director Amaal Malik and nephew of music director Anu Malik.

On the Bollywood front, he has songs in Madhur Bhandarkar’s "Calendar Girls" and "Hero", co-produced by superstar Salman Khan. He also sang the track "Main Hoon Hero Tera" in the remake of "Hero".
