Jammu lawyers to boycott courts till July 30


Jammu, Jul 24 (IANS): The Jammu region bar association on Thursday said its members would boycott courts starting Friday till July 30, as part of their agitation to press demand for setting up AIIMS in Jammu.

The decision was taken at the general body meeting of the bar association held in Jammu on Thursday.

"The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu, is leading the mass movement comprising various social, non-political organisations fighting for their legitimate demand for setting up of the AIIMS," a statement issued by the Jammu bar association said.
