Gaurang Shah to present 'Samyuktha' at LFW

Mumbai, July 24 (IANS): Textile designer Gaurang Shah will unveil 'Samyuktha', a collection inspired from the epic and dramatic love story of the 12th century king Prithviraj Chauhan and Samyuktha, at the forthcoming winter-festive 2015 edition of Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) here on August 27.

"The 44-piece collection is a tale of the most beautiful queen of her times and her exquisite style of clothing. It is a journey, which replicates the culture of Kannauj; her native land in Rajasthan and her lifestyle in Delhi after her marriage," Shah said in a statement.

This will be Shah's maiden solo show and will have 44 models walking the ramp, showcasing both men and women's wear.

On Wednesday, Shah gave a sneak peek of 'Samyuktha' in Hyderabad. Popular Kuchipudi dancer Sandhya Raju wore his latest creation.
