Explosives seized along Bangladesh border


Kolkata, July 24 (IANS): The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized explosives being smuggled into India from Bangladesh along the international border in West Bengal, an officer said on Friday.

The seizure was made on Thursday in Malda district.

"Although the miscreants carrying the explosive managed to flee, we have seized 2.7 kg of explosive powder. The explosives have been handed over to police for further action," said a BSF officer.
