Civilian killed in Kashmir grenade attack


Srinagar, July 25 (IANS): One of the five civilians injured in a grenade explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district succumbed to his injuries in a hospital here on Saturday.

He was identified as Muhammad Jabbar Wagay.

The civilians and a CRPF trooper were injured when separatist guerrillas tossed a grenade at a bus stand in Anantnag district.

A police officer told IANS here that the militants hurled the grenade at the Achabal bus stand, injuring a trooper from the Central Reserve Police Force and the civilians.

All of them were rushed to a hospital.
