Big B on nostalgic trip


Mumbai, July 26 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took a nostalgia-filled photographic tour to the past by sharing online some moments close to his heart through a series of images with his family and co-stars like Shashi Kapoor.

The 72-year-old actor, who has entertained film-goers for over four decades, described those days gone by as “delightful”.

The cine icon, who stays connected to his fans and well-wishers through several virtual platforms, took to social networking site Facebook to share the photographs.

The star shared throwback photographs via a series of posts with captions: “Enjoy some memorable pictures...given by Ef”, “Just some moments...delightful” and “Those were the days”.

In one image, the star is seen posing with veteran actor Shashi Kapoor and in another he strikes a dance pose with late actress Parveen Babi.

The actor, who has earned sobriquets like Bollywood Shahenshah, also posted a group photograph with the star cast of the classic hit “Sholay”, including Hema Malini, Dharmendra, late Amjad Khan and late Sanjeev Kumar.

The “Piku” actor also shared some family moments with wife Jaya, daughter Shweta Nanda and son Abhishek.

“Some early family pictures...Abhishek and Shweta in their looks of innocence...Abhishek and me in a Kayak...a boat in Nepal for the shooting of 'Mahaan'...and Shweta with her favourite doll,” Big B shared.

On the professional front, the actor is gearing up for “Wazir”, which also stars multi-talented Farhan Akhtar.
