Himachal CM condemns terror attack


Shimla, July 27 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday condemned the terror attack in Punjab.

"Such cowardly and inhumane activities by the terrorists won't be tolerated," he said in a statement.

He said directions had been issued to the Himachal Pradesh Police and administration to keep a strict vigil on inter-state borders.

Director General of Police Sanjay Kumar said a high alert had been sounded in the border areas of Chamba district, adjoining Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
