Srinagar, July 29 (IANS): The Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.

A defence spokesman told IANS here that "Pakistan army violated ceasefire in Machil sector of the LoC today using small arms and automatics.

"They violated the ceasefire twice. The first violation occurred at 11.40 a.m. and the second at 12.30 p.m.
