Afghan Taliban confirm Mullah Omar's death


Kabul, July 30 (IANS): The Afghan Taliban on Thursday confirmed the death of their leader Mullah Mohammad Omar, a media report said.

The terror group, however, did not say when and where Omar died, Xinhua reported.

The confirmation came a day after the Afghan government announced his death.
