Aamir meets Phogat's daughters to prepare for his role in Dangal

Mumbai, Jul 31: Ever the perfectionist, Aamir Khan is said to have met up with Geeta and Babita Phogat as part of his preparation for his role in the movie Dangal, where he plays the role of Indian wrestler Mahavir Phogat.

Mahavir Phogat was a wrestler himself, and he taught both his daughters as well, who are today nationally acclaimed wrestlers.  Reportedly Aamir wanted to meet them in order to know more about their father whom he will be portraying in the film. Reportedly all their schedules worked out to allow the girls to visit Aamir at his home in Mumbai. The meeting is said to have been an emotional one and Aamir was ever the gracious host who saw to the girls' comfort for the duration of their stay in Mumbai.

The Mangal Pandey star wanted to learn from them personally about Mahavir's personality before starting the shoot for the film. It is believed that the girls shared their own journey's with Aamir and also spoke in depth about their lifestyle and profession. They were in the city for a couple of days before heading back home. They, are also said to be eager to see the film, when it is released.
