From Karachi to Indore, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is going places and minting crores

Mumbai, Jul 31: Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has a special screening in Karachi for some of the big names in Pakistani media and in Indore Indian Oil and Hero organised an event for Salman - Kareena fans. The world over, people are flocking to cinemas and the movie has earned up to of Rs 400 crores.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted the movie's countrywide takings, "#BajrangiBhaijaan [Wk 2] Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 19.25 cr, Sun 24.05 cr, Mon 9.30 cr, Tue 9.10 cr, Wed 7.10 cr. Total: ₹ 266.22 cr. ATBB." While the movie itself has wowed many people, many more were eager to watch it based on all the rave reviews that it got. All in all the footfalls are increasing and the celebration continues.

In Indore, Indian Oil and Hero gave away free tickets to some ardent Salman and Kareena fans. Fans came dressed as their favourite stars and a number of interactive games were conducted for all the attendees. The fans imitated the stars, right from singing songs, emoting dialogues and finally filling up the theatre completely to watch the movie.

Karachi on the other hand had local celerbities turn up in droves for the special screening of Bajrangi bhaijaan at Atrium Cinemas as a tribute to Salman Khan. Those who attended include, Behroz Sabazwari with his wife, son Shahroz and daughter-in-law Syra, Deepak Perwani, Sarwat Gillani and husband Fahad Mirza, Dr Muzna and Shehzad Sheikh to name just a few. The screening had been organised by Dr. Rana Asif, CEO – THOR (The House Of Rana).
