Hyderabad, Aug 1 (IANS): A woman set afire her two children and later committed suicide here on Saturday.
According to police, the incident occurred in Gachibowli area in Hyderabad.
Vinoda, 43, poured kerosene on her two children Jyothi, 8, and Vignesh, 7, and set them afire. She then immolated self. All the three died on the spot.
The woman left behind a suicide note in which she stated she was taking the extreme step as her husband was staying with another woman and was not taking care of the family.
The family originally hailed from Medak district and was settled in Hyderabad for 10 years.
