No foul play in Sundarban tiger cub's death

Kolkata, Aug 1 (IANS): The West Bengal forest department has ruled out foul play in the death of two tiger cubs in the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, an official said on Saturday.

"The bodies were intact and they died due to natural causes. We do not suspect foul play," Sundarbans biosphere reserve director Pradeep Vyas said.

Carcasses of the tiger cubs belonging to the same litter were discovered on Thursday and Friday in the Jhila jungle in the Sundarbans mangrove forest.
