New Delhi, Aug 2 (IANS): It was a party cloudy morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
"It will remain partly cloudy here. Thunderstorms may occur in some areas of the city later in the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 77 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
