New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS): It was a cloudy Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
"The sky would be generally cloudy today (Tuesday). Thunderstorms may occur later in the day in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 9 a.m. was recorded at 66 percent.
On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
