China-Nepal highway reopens


Kathmandu, Aug 6 (IANS): The Araniko highway that links Nepal and China reopened on Thursday after being blocked for over three months.

The 114-km highway, which suffered severe damage due to landslides after the April earthquake, reopened after a five-day joint operation of Chinese police and the Nepalese Army, Xinhua news agency reported.
