Nine killed in Pakistan chopper crash


Islamabad, Aug 6 (IANS): At least nine people were killed when a helicopter crashed in Pakistan on Thursday, local media and officials said.

A senior police officer said the helicopter crashed after hitting a hill on the outskirts of Abbottabad, a district of northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The helicopter caught fire following the crash and the local people pulled out the nine bodies from it, Xinhua reported.
