What our Traffic Police is doing...? they only want to collect money from the poor and middle class people.
The Police has to fail the fitness test of these vehicles without speed governors...

We do pray the injured persons recover fast....
The Xpress Buses are Demons on the Road..they should be fitted with Speed Governors..60Kmph..should be OK . Further they should NOT be allowed to wait at Bustops any longer after the Passengers have got down and fresh ones got in....
this extra wait makes them rush to the next stop to keep up their allotted time....
The RTA should allot proper slots with 60 Kmph speed as the limit...
Can any one let us know if at Surathkal..driving on the WRONG side is RIGHT...(between Bus stand and Govindas College)..

There are two Durgamba buses at around the same time within a time difference of 5 minutes around 4.15pm & 4.20pm starting from State Bank. I have observed these two buses are eternally in a mad race and many a times I have asked the conductors why they do so even if they are from the same company. The answer was, they will get higher commission for more collection and they have families to look after!. The speed, rash driving and flouting of all road rules between these two Durgamba buses is nauseating!!!

Mr.Maxim, thanks for remembering Shanker Vittal & CPC buses.

I still remember the silver coloured Shanker vittal buses & Dodge CPC buses. Really good times to remember the old memories.

If I am not wrong, Mr.Mohd. Saiber , Mukkar the driver of Shanker vittal first bus used to start from Mukka at 6 am. He was so honest & helpful person, and also a very careful driver who used to wait for the daily passengers who used to travel in his first trip.

His Son Mr. Abdul Khader was my classmate.

If I am not mistaken and refresh my mind only Durgamba buses are always involved in accidents. That is because of rash, negligence, reckless driving and competition at the cost of passengers and public. They are not worried about how many people are dying. Some of the drivers are thinking that they are flying Aeroplanes not buses.Another main reason for such kind of accidents are manner less, reckless driving of two-wheeler drivers and auto drivers. They are the nuisance on the road.Pray for the fast recovery of injured people.

Stop all express (death race) buses and introduce express train every 10 to 15 mins between Mangalore & Udupi. It is ok to have slow buses every half an hour stopping all stops between mangalore to Udupi. This way we can minimize accidents.

its decades the public is fed up of these express busses and the evil bus drivers. Major demand to deploy Govt busses in all these routes in and around Mangalore. But it's the bloody politicians, RTO officials and Police connected very closely with the bus drivers who earn ransom amount with this business and sitting with closed eyes and ears. Or else we had enough death counts to due to these bus drivers ( both city busses and express drivers ) to take a strong decision to stop all these private busses and deploy State Govt busses. Pity on ourselves to be a part of this messy and corrupt system. Really. No value to human lives, especially the lives loft due to these road accidents, especially because of these killer drivers... Don't think we will get a solution for these, than an irresponsible answer "public need to bear these things" quoted by our honorable CM.

Mad dogs are better than this EXPRESS bus drivers.
For them no speed limits at all by the blessings of Police and Politicians.
If it is in other countries they would be behind bars for killing people mercilessly like terrorists.

Please for Heaven's sake suspend all the private bus permits and let the state transport start its operation. I only prefer to travel by KSRTC buses. I hate these private buses, Dirty abusive languages they use, loud music, honking, over takes.... If u support this hit likes and let the message spread.
