President Mukherjee's wife in critical state

New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee's wife, who was admitted to the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) here, is in critical condition, the authorities said on Saturday.

The president's wife, Suvra Mukherjee, who has been ill for some time, was admitted to the hospital on Friday evening.

"She was brought to the hospital with a respiratory problem. She is a heart patient and has been kept in the intensive care unit," a hospital spokesperson told IANS.
