Forget the CID investigation. It is the responsibility of the Home Minister to ensure that all jails, police stations & lock ups are covered by CCTV cameras. This is the only way the investigation will be impartial & truth will come out. The only way justice can be served. The only way honest & upright officers can survive. Implement this immediately, otherwise the DC & Chief Secretary should be taken to task.

This is not the first time that a LOCK UP death is reported. These episodes have occurred before.... sometimes due to heart failures and sometimes due to other reasons.

It is not fair to come to conclusions. The best action that could be taken is to hand over investigations for CID probe. This branch of law and order do not have allegiances to any one and very soon the truth should come to light.

Fabricated story by the police now land them in further trouble. Dismissal of the officer if proven that police beating resulted in the death.
Thanks to the initiative taken by our judge and law enforcing agencies.
