Dubai, Aug 9: To promote Konkani language and Konkani artistes, Mangalore Konkans Dubai has invited all enthusiastic Mangalureans in the UAE to take part in a UAE-level 'Vividh Vinodaval Spordho 2015', a group talent contest.
If you are an impressive dancer, versatile actor, great master of ceremony or possess any talent to entertain people, grab this great opportunity to show the world what you can do and be a winner.
'Vividh Vinodaval Spordho 2015' will be held on October 16 at the JSS School Auditorium, Dubai.
This unique contest which was held previously in 2013, witnessed tremendous response from the audience as well as the participants. The huge success of this event has prompted Mangalore Konkans Dubai to yet again organize the contest of its kind and provide a platform to the participants to display their talents.
Themes for presentation: Patriotism / Peace and Harmony / Save the Environment / Social Issues.
Criteria for judgment: Originality, creativity, presentation, team involvement and morale/message conveyed through selected theme.
Trophies for: Best MC, Best Male Artiste, Best Female Artiste and Best Child Performer.
Prizes:
1st: AED 3,000 and trophy
2nd: AED 2,000 and trophy
3rd: AED 1,000 and trophy
The organisers strongly felt the need to support talented people who are working hard to do their best to be the champions of this event.
Mangalore Konkans Dubai, noted for its commitment to keep the Konkani culture alive in the UAE, is geared up to give the best fun-filled evening to Konkani lovers on a complementary basis.
Also, in between the contest, there will be performances by Konkani artistes as well as mesmerizing dances by Feet Beat dance group. The preparation for the event by the organising team is in full swing under the dynamic leadership of Arun Lobo.
